This review is for a lower door seal. It is designed to fit directly onto 1/4" glass. It's made entirely out of semi flexible plastic. It's easy to install. Just measure, cut, and press into place. Depending on the clearance between the lower edge of the door and the door frame, you may need to trim the sweep. I'm happy with this door seal. It's a great improvement over the rubber one it replaced.

Our six year old shower door's seal was starting to get pretty sad and it was time to replace it. I'd bought some other seals but we have a 1/4 door rather than the thicker 3/8" door that is more common.Installation is easy: pull off old seal, clean bottom of the door, then install the longer side outboard of the hinge. Mark, remove, cut with snips. Put cut off section on the short inboard of hinge side and repeat the mark and cut. This is not plumber/handyman level work. This is homeowner maintenance like shelf paper, furnace filters, and light bulbs.It fits well and the shower door no longer weeps and dribbles on the floor. Win!.

We got this because our frameless shower door seal has started to come apart. I didn’t know if this would be a good quality or not, but when it arrived, my husband said he is shocked at how nice it is! Super thick, excellent quality for the price and easy to install.

This shower sweep functions as designed. It fit my shower door, which is about 1/4 inch thick. It was super easy to install. We just removed the old sweep, cleaned the area, cut the new one down to size and placed it on the bottom of the shower door. It seems like good quality and so far, is doing a good job of keeping water from seeping out. It saved me a trip to the home improvement store, so I’d say it’s worth the ~$26.

I'm a graduate degree'd engineer with a great appreciation for good product design and the owner of a handyman business who's installed quite a few similar shower door sweeps. With that as background ...There's nothing ground breaking about this particular shower door sweep, but it is well designed, uses appropriate materials, is easy to install, works well and is decently priced. The "sweep flap" on the bottom of the of this item is soft enough to conform to small irregularities, such as a slightly misaligned glass door. Disappointingly this item includes to installation instructions, but it couldn't be more simple. Merely slide the existing sweep down off the glass. This may require pushing with something with a hard edge (hopefully something plastic so as to scratch the glass), but sometimes I get them off easily with just my fingers. Then clean the glass and slip on the new sweep. Easy peasy .... Note that the glass used in frameless shower doors varies. This item is for the thinner 1/4" glass and will not fit on the thicker 3/8" glass doors.
