KPUY 32" / 36" Square Shower Base Pan with Center Drain, Carrara White Slip Resistant Design, Non‑Integrated Flange, Easy to Clean

We installed the 32 x 32 in a secondary bathroom where every inch mattered. It's compact but still usable, and the low threshold makes it feel less boxed in than our old shower.

Overall I'm satisfied. The Carrara White looks clean and the pan feels sturdy. Packaging was fine and everything was there. I would just plan more time for installation than the description makes it sound like.

I like the finished appearance and the non-slip floor. The installation is where I struggled. Between getting the base level, positioning the drain and figuring out the flange setup, I eventually had a contractor finish it.

The square shape made planning the glass enclosure pretty straightforward. We used the 36 x 36 size and the proportions look right in the finished bathroom.

I didn't want anything flashy, just something that looked a little less builder grade. The light marble pattern does exactly that.

So far the base feels stable and drains well. The textured floor does hold a little more soap residue than a completely smooth surface, so I rinse it after each shower.

The base itself wasn't damaged and looked fine, but getting the flanges, waterproofing and center drain all lined up took much more effort than I expected. For a DIY project I would probably choose something simpler next time.

We had very limited space and this allowed us to keep a real shower without making the room feel cramped. The white finish also helps the small bathroom stay bright.

The 32 x 32 base worked for our guest bath and looks good installed. My main complaint is that the instructions felt a little generic. An installer probably won't care, but a DIY person may want to watch a few installation videos first.

The Carrara effect is more subtle than I expected from the photos. It still looks nice and clean, but if you're looking for dramatic marble veining this probably isn't that kind of finish.

Once installed and leveled correctly, water seems to move evenly toward the center. We haven't noticed water sitting in one particular corner after showers.

The product seems well made, but don't underestimate how important the floor prep is. Our subfloor had a slight low spot that had to be corrected before the installer was comfortable setting the pan.

The base, glass enclosure and tile all work well together. I especially like that the Carrara White doesn't look as plain as a standard solid white shower floor.

I liked the look of the base but the center drain was completely wrong for our existing setup. Moving the plumbing would have cost more than I wanted to spend, so this wasn't usable for our project. Definitely verify the drain location first.

For our bathroom the 36 x 36 was a good compromise. It feels noticeably roomier than the old shower but still leaves enough floor space outside.

The textured floor does its job and feels safer than a smooth base. The tradeoff is that it takes a little more brushing around the texture when cleaning. Not a big problem, just something to know.

We have matte black shower fixtures and clear glass. The dark gray veining picks up some of the black without making the floor look dark. It came together better than I expected.

The pan itself is fine and the surface looks good. I wasn't a big fan of dealing with the non-integrated flanges. They give you flexibility, but I personally would have preferred something already molded into place.

We bought the 32 x 32 version and it fit, but there wasn't much room for measurement mistakes once the wall board and tile were factored in. The finished result is good, just measure the complete opening instead of assuming.

I wanted a marble look but didn't want strong veins all over the shower floor. This is fairly subtle. The only thing I notice is that soap residue shows more in the textured areas if we don't rinse it well.

The old base was yellowed and had a tall threshold. This one made the shower look much cleaner and the lower step-in height is definitely nicer to use.

Our contractor took time getting the base properly supported and level. Once everything was set, it felt very solid underfoot with no noticeable movement.

The pan looked nice, but the center drain location caused too much extra plumbing work in our bathroom. I should have checked the existing drain position more carefully before buying it. We ended up changing the plan.

Everything we needed was in the box and the finished shower feels sturdy. I would have liked a little more detail in the instructions about the separate flange pieces and when exactly to install them.

The gray veins are not too heavy, which I like. From a few feet away it mostly looks like a clean white base with a little more detail.

I was worried the polished look would mean a slick floor but the standing area has noticeable texture. It feels secure when wet without being uncomfortable on bare feet.
